Post-construction, ready to show .

From rough-clean to ready-to-show. Drywall dust, paint over-spray, and trim debris removal once the contractors leave. New-surface care so finishes don't get damaged on the way to handover.

Phases of clean

Three passes. Every new surface.

Post-construction is a different cleaning skillset than residential recurring: the materials are new and unsealed, and the wrong product can mar a finish in seconds.

Rough clean

  • Bulk debris and trash hauled out
  • Drywall mud, dust, and shavings
  • Excess adhesive and caulk removal
  • Floor protection materials removed
  • Initial vacuum + sweep pass

Detail clean

  • All surfaces wiped (top to bottom)
  • Window tracks, frames, and glass
  • Inside cabinets, drawers, closets
  • Light fixtures, ceiling fans, vents
  • Baseboards, door frames, switches

Final details

  • HVAC vent and return cleaning
  • Appliance interiors and exteriors
  • Final hand-wipe of every surface
  • Touch-up vacuum on hard floors
  • Walk-through with GC or homeowner

New-surface care

  • New hardwood: pH-neutral cleaning
  • New stone / quartz: sealed-surface care
  • New paint: gentle cloth + minimal moisture
  • New windows: streak-free finish
  • Stainless: grain-direction wipe

Post-construction · FAQ

GC and homeowner questions.

When in the project should I schedule the post-construction clean?

Most homeowners and GCs schedule it after the final inspection but before move-in or staging. Some larger projects benefit from a rough clean mid-project (especially after drywall) and a final clean at the end. We can quote either approach.

How long does post-construction cleaning take?

Most Spokane post-construction cleans run 1–2 days with a 3-person crew. Whole-home renovations or new construction can take 2–3 days. Single-room remodels are typically a half-day.

Do you handle drywall dust in the HVAC system?

We clean all visible vents and returns and run HEPA-filtered vacuums during the clean. Full duct cleaning (interior of the supply runs) is a different specialty. We'll refer to a Spokane HVAC duct-cleaning specialist when warranted.

Are your cleaners insured for new construction?

Yes. Full general liability + Workers' Comp + fidelity bonds. We're happy to add the GC or homeowner as named insured on a per-job basis.

How is post-construction priced?

Per project, by square footage + scope. Whole-home post-construction cleans typically run $1.50–$3.00 per sq ft of finished space. Quote in writing before the visit.
