Carpet and upholstery, done right .

Hot-water extraction for carpet, low-moisture for delicate upholstery. Stand-alone bookings or as an add-on to a deep clean or move-out. Truck-mounted equipment for real extraction power.

Method

Different fabrics. Different protocols.

Carpet and upholstery share the “extract dirt from fibers” problem but the materials and methods diverge. We identify the material before choosing the approach.

Carpet

  • Pre-vacuum with HEPA-filter pass
  • Targeted spot pre-treatment
  • Hot-water extraction (truck-mount)
  • Pile-grooming after extraction
  • Air-mover acceleration on request

Upholstery

  • Fabric type identification first
  • Low-moisture method for delicate fabrics
  • Hot-water extraction for synthetics
  • Cushion + cover treatment
  • Pet-stain and odor protocols

Stain protocols

  • Pet urine: enzymatic neutralization
  • Red wine and blood: color-safe oxidizers
  • Coffee and tea: tannin treatment
  • Ink and dye: solvent-based, careful
  • Mystery stains, we identify before treating

Protection (add-on)

  • Scotchgard / fabric protector application
  • Allergen / dust-mite treatments
  • Pet-odor deodorizers
  • Anti-microbial finishes
  • Refresher schedule (12–18 month)

Carpet & upholstery · FAQ

Questions before we extract.

What method do you use for carpet cleaning?

Hot-water extraction (steam cleaning) is our standard method, it's the IICRC-recommended approach and what manufacturer warranties typically require. Truck-mounted equipment for stronger extraction.

How long until carpet is dry?

Most Spokane carpets are dry in 4–8 hours. Drier with air movers (we can leave them running). Walking on carpet barefoot is fine within an hour; furniture goes back when fully dry.

Is your method safe for pets and kids?

Yes. We use pH-balanced, EPA-registered cleaning solutions with no harsh residues. Pets and kids can be in the home during cleaning if you prefer; most prefer to schedule around it.

Can you handle pet urine and odor?

Yes, we use enzymatic neutralization that breaks down the urea and uric-acid crystals (the source of recurring smells). Severe contamination may need padding replacement; we'll tell you honestly during the estimate.

Is upholstery cleaning safe for delicate fabrics?

Yes. We identify fabric type first (cotton, polyester, microfiber, linen blend, leather) and choose the appropriate method. Low-moisture for delicate; hot-water extraction for synthetics. We won't guess on materials we can damage.

Can carpet cleaning be added to a deep clean or move-out?

Yes, carpet cleaning is a common add-on to deep cleans and move-in/out cleans. Bundling saves the second-trip charge.
